Who are we?
Adv-Polymers Recycling was founded by three close friends, longtime collaborators, and experienced entrepreneurs with deep roots in the waste, recycling, and manufacturing industries. Over the years, they’d seen firsthand how often valuable materials were discarded due to logistical hurdles, lack of infrastructure, or simply because no one was willing to take on the messier side of recycling.
Drawing on decades and of industry experience, they came together to create a company that does things differently. Adv-Polymers specializes in solving complex recycling challenges, from difficult-to-process plastics to mixed loads and off-spec material along with relentless commitment to world class customer service. We work across industries to deliver practical, cost-efficient recycling and recovery solutions that are always backed by friendly service and a hands-on approach.

Known for his hands-on approach and knack for uncovering value where others see trash, he enjoys working directly with teams on the ground to improve both efficiency and sustainability. Whether walking a plant floor or designing a waste diversion strategy, Tom is driven to help partners reduce waste and boost performance.

Steven Green
Chief Commodities Officer
Steven grew up in the plastics recycling world and is known as one of the industry’s most trusted experts. He has owned and operated recycling facilities (including wash lines, grinders, and extruders) across several continents. This unique background gives him deep insight into material flow and market dynamics, allowing him to solve complex recycling challenges while maximizing value for customers.

Jason Smith
Chief Operating Officer
Jason brings over 20 years of experience in logistics and commodities trading, with a focus on delivering reliable service from pick-up to final delivery. He has designed and managed transport programs across North America and internationally, covering everything from local drayage to ocean freight. Jason is known for clear communication, accountability, and making sure every shipment runs on time.

Robin is a seasoned finance leader with a sharp eye for detail and a strong track record in both financial management and reporting. She builds systems that give stakeholders clarity and confidence in performance. Robin also leads APR’s development of advanced tech tools that track and trace materials throughout the recycling process, ensuring transparency every step of the way

His career has often been defined by supporting organizations from design to implementing infrastructure, data security and a trusted partner through complex mergers and acquisitions. He is passionate about aligning technology with business objectives and ensuring IT functions as a driver to support efficiency, growth and innovation.
