Advanced Polymer Recycling Acquires AgTech Recycling

Advanced Polymer Recycling LLC (APR), a leading plastic recycling service provider based in Peachtree City, Georgia, today announced the acquisition of AgTech Recycling, an agricultural plastics recovery and processing company headquartered in Quitman, Georgia.

AgTech Recycling partners with regional manufacturers to reprocess scrap plastic into recycled resin suitable for reintegration into production. The Quitman facility also focuses on recycling greenhouse plastics, agricultural films, containers, and other farm‑related polymer streams that have historically been difficult to collect and recycle.

With this acquisition, APR expands its presence in southern Georgia and North Florida while adding a full‑service processing operation with the ability to recycle a wide range of complex plastics. The company states that AgTech’s capabilities will enhance APR’s ability to support both traditional mechanical recycling markets and emerging advanced recycling sectors requiring consistent, traceable feedstock.
